I love viewing appointments. This is where my clients can see all that transpired during the shoot. Seeing me posing and photographing the newborn is so different from what the camera sees. The angles that I take the photo with are so different than the angle the family is seeing so all the images are different than what you'd expect. I enjoy the viewing sessions so much because I have my favorite poses and shots that were taken during the shoot and it is so much fun to see the family's favorites as well. Sometimes they line up with what I like and other times they are so different.
The family photo above was one of my favorites so I was so glad that Ailish's family chose it for their largest wall art. This will look gorgeous in their bedroom and show their newly growing family.
The other wall art that they purchased was for the baby's nursery. They debated which one of sweet Ailish they would choose for her nursery. I wasn't surprised when they chose the one smile that Ailish had during her session. Smiles are super lucky during a session and I get so excited to get one for the family. This is such a wonderful way to remember those first smiles (even if they are not true smiles and just gas).
